What is E-ZPass On-the-Go?
E-ZPass On-the-Go is the new innovative way to obtain an E-ZPass tag. E-ZPass On-the-Go will allow the busy traveler to open an E-ZPass account without filling out an application or waiting in line.

E-ZPass On-the-Go Instructions

It's as E-Z as 1-2-3:

  1. Purchase an E-ZPass On-the-Go Tag for $25 at any authorized E-ZPass retail location.
  2. If the tag is for your use, it can be mounted and used immediately.
  3. Visit www.e-zpassNY.com/register and register your tag within 48 hours of its first use. Once the tag is registered, the full $25.00 will be moved to your
    E-ZPass account.

Existing E-ZPass customers that have a New York State Thruway account can also pick up an additional tag at any of the Authorized Retail Locations. The full $25.00 is applied to the account once the tag is registered.

If the Tag is a gift or being used at a later date, you have up to a year to register the Tag.

Please note E-ZPass On-the-Go Tags are for passenger vehicles only.
