A Passenger Vehicle account allows individuals to get up to a maximum of four tags for passenger vehicles only.  If you want to use a dedicated E-ZPass lane when towing a trailer, camper or boat you can now get a special towing E-ZPass tag.

There are four EZ Ways to sign up for E-ZPass!
  1. Find an E-ZPass On-the-Go LocationE-ZPASS On-the-Go
    E-ZPass On-the-Go tags are pre-packaged passenger car tags that can be purchased for $25 with a major credit card, cash or check. With the $25 posted to the account, these tags can be used immediately for travel; however customers must register their account within two days from the first use. Customers can register their accounts via a toll-free number or on-line. Stop at one of the following E-ZPass On-the-Go locations to purchase your E-ZPass tag. For more information visit the FAQs.

  2. ONLINE
    Sign up for an E-ZPass account online at www.e-zpassNY.com. To become an E-ZPass member, please have your vehicle information and a valid credit card ready.

  3. MAIL
    Stop and pick up an E-ZPass application at a Thruway toll plaza or download an application from www.e-zpassNY.com and mail to:

  4. IN PERSON
    Visit one of the eight convenient E-ZPass walk-in centers and get your E-ZPass today.
