Thruway Authority Announces Lane Closure Northbound on I-95 Between Interchanges 16 and 17
Motorists Should Expect Delays

The New York State Thruway Authority announces that the right and center northbound lanes on I-95 between Interchanges 16 (New Rochelle, North Ave., Cedar St.) and 17 (Larchmont , Chatsworth Ave.) have been temporarily closed due to a fatal accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer.

Motorists traveling northbound in this area should expect delays.

Emergency crews are on the scene and the lanes will reopen as soon as conditions permit.

Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) have been activated to inform motorists of this lane closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this incident.
