Thruway Authority Announces All Westbound Lanes Reopened Near Interchange 25A (Schenectady)

The New York State Thruway Authority announced that all westbound lanes near Interchange 25A (Schenectady) have been reopened. They were closed earlier this morning at milepost 158.3 due to a roll over accident involving a passenger vehicle and a tractor trailer.

The Authority did activate its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and sent a TRANSalert to subscribers to alert motorists of the accident and closure.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
