Thruway Authority Announces Pavement Repair Project near Interchanges 46 (Rochester, Corning, Henrietta) and 47 (Rochester LeRoy) to Necessitate Overnight Lane Closures
Motorists May Experience Minimal Delays
The New York State Thruway Authority today announced that an ongoing pavement repair project scheduled to take place near Interchange 46 (Rochester, Corning, Henrietta) and 47 (Rochester LeRoy) will necessitate overnight lane closures in both the eastbound and westbound directions beginning Wednesday, October 15, 2008, weather permitting. During this project motorists may experience minimal delays.
The right eastbound lane will be closed for repairs from milepost 375.2 to 374 beginning on Wednesday, October 15 at 3:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, October, 16; and again on Friday, October 17 at 6 p.m. until 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, October 18.
The right westbound lane will be closed for repairs from milepost 370.6 to 374.2 beginning on Wednesday, October 15 at 6:00 p.m. until 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 18.
The left eastbound lane will be closed for repairs from milepost 375.2 to 374 beginning on Thursday, October 16 at 3:00 p.m. until 10 a.m. on Friday, October 17.
The left westbound lane will be closed for repairs from milepost 370.6 to 374.2 on Thursday, October 16 at 6:00 p.m. until noon on Friday, October 17.
The Authority will activate its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and the Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to inform motorists of the work and any delays that may result.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this important improvement project takes place.
