TRAFFIC ADVISORY: Thruway Authority Announces All Westbound Lanes Blocked Near 48A (Pembroke)
Motorists Advised to Plan for Delays and Seek Alternate Routes

The New York State Thruway Authority announced that all westbound lanes are currently blocked near Interchange 48A (Pembroke), at milepost 403, due to an accident involving a jack knifed tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle. Motorists are advised to plan for delays and seek alternate routes.

State Police, emergency crews and tow trucks are on the scene at this time. At lease one lane will be reopened as soon as conditions permit.

The Authority has activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and has issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to advise motorists of the lane closures.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
