TRAFFIC ADVISORY UPDATE:
Thruway Authority Announces All Westbound Lanes Reopened Near 48A (Pembroke)
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that all westbound lanes have been reopened near Interchange 48A (Pembroke), at milepost 403. The lanes were closed earlier today due to an accident involving a jack knifed tractor trailer and a passenger vehicle.
The Authority did activated its Highway Advisory Radio (HAR), Dynamic Message Signs (DMS), and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to advise motorists of the lane closures and residual delays.
The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
