Thruway Authority Announces Exit 8 (Niagara Street) Ramp on I-190 Southbound to Temporarily Close for Bridge Maintenance
Motorists May Experience Delays
The New York State Thruway Authority announced that the Exit 8 ramp (Niagara Street) on I-190 southbound will be temporarily closed on Tuesday, October 21, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. due to a bridge maintenance project, weather permitting.
A signed detour will be in place advising southbound motorists to take the Exit 7 (Church Street) to I-190 southbound.
The Authority will activate the Highway Advisory Radio (HAR) to inform motorists of the work and any delays that may result.
The Authority appreciates motorists’ patience and understanding while this essential project takes place.
