TRAFFIC ADVISORY
Motorists to Expect Delays on Route 303 Just off Exit 12 of New York State Thruway
The New York State Thruway Authority has just announced that at this time, Route 303, via Exit 12 (West Nyack), is being affected as a result of the ongoing Tappan Zee Bridge Re-decking Project.
After leaving the Tappan Zee Bridge re-decking site, a truck carrying an old panel from the bridge has lost its load on Route 303. Motorists traveling in this area should seek alternate routes and avoid Route 303. There are no lane closures on the Thruway at this time.
The Authority has activated Highway Advisory Radio and Dynamic Message Signs to alert motorists to the accident and possible delays. The Authority has also issued a TRANSalert to subscribers.
The Authority apologizes for any inconvenience this may cause.
