Thruway Authority Announces All Westbound Lanes Reopened Near Interchange 26 (Schenectady I-890 & Route 5S)

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that all westbound lanes near Interchange 26, (Schenectady I-890 & Route 5S) at milepost 162.2, have been reopened. They were closed earlier today due to a rollover truck accident.

During the closures, the Authority activated its Dynamic Message Signs (DMS) and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify motorists of the incident and resulting delays.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
