Traffic Alert Update: Thruway Authority Announces Truck Accident Along I-90 Westbound
One Lane Open Near Interchange 26 (Schenectady I-890 & Route 5S)

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that one westbound lane has been reopened to traffic along I-90 near Interchange 26.

Due to an earlier rollover truck accident along I-90 westbound, at milepost 162.2 near Interchange 26, all westbound lanes were blocked. At this time, one westbound lane and all eastbound lanes are open.

State Police and Authority Maintenance Crews are on the scene at this time.

A second westbound lane will be reopened as soon as conditions safely permit.

The Authority has activated a Dynamic Message Board and has issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify them of the incident and resulting delays.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.
