Thruway Authority Announces Westbound Lanes Near Exits 12 and 11 Reopened on I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway

The New York State Thruway Authority has announced that the left and center lanes westbound, between Exit 12 and 11, at milepost 10.3, on I-287 Cross Westchester Expressway, have been reopened. They were closed earlier today due to a rollover truck accident.

During the closures, the Authority activated a Dynamic Message Sign and issued a TRANSalert to subscribers to notify motorists of the incident and resulting delays.

The Authority appreciates motorists' patience during this time.

The Authority offers a free email service called TRANSalert to its customers via email or text messaging to inform them of major unscheduled incidents that may affect their travel on the Thruway.
